NGO Code of Ethics

The existence of NGOs are the humanity of responsibility for freedom, initiative, equity, pluralism, solidarity, and justice that need to be fought. The NGOs engage the society participation, promote the solidarity, fasten the society initiative in handle the social problem. Those roles need the systematic and sustainable approach, and in a good and right mechanism, for the fully responsibility sense. Based on the reasons, the NGO Code of Ethics was created as the responsibility form to the society, partner and the NGO’s itself

The Code of Ethic was created in the National Congress of Indonesia NGO Council (Konsil LSM Indonesia) on July 2010. Furthermore on the 2nd National Congress, September 2013, it was being improved. Today the Code of Ethics only binding to Konsil members, but in the future hopefully the code of ethics can be implemented for all Indonesia NGOs
